Question of the Day

Bella and Edward met in high school even though Edward is way too old for it. So the question is this: Could you do high school over again? How many times? How would you change your experience? Would you remain out of sight like the Cullens or are you gonna stir up trouble with your fabulous look and scary vibes?

I have to think that high school would be easier the second time around. I wouldn't make the same mistakes I did the first time. Although maybe it would be too mundane for me now?

Though I wasn't shy at all in high school, I think I'd be more confident if I went back in terms of my capabilities and relationships (with friends and guys). I wouldn't stop trying out for the plays (I quit drama for SOCCER at the end of 10th grade...EW! I sucked!), I would have gone out for choir instead of band (I sing better than I flute), I would have maybe taken some creative art-type classes I had skipped the first time around because my friends were taking medical biology, calculus and advanced chemistry (why did I put myself through that?!?). I would have flirted a lot, lot more. ;-)

Still, knowing what I know now (like how nice it is to be married and have a job/my own salary etc), the experience could be really frustrating. Unless I'd be rich like a Cullen.

Regardless, it would beat staying cooped up in the (albeit awesome) Cullen house all day. I'd have to do SOMETHING. But I think I'd rather re-do college...

GREAT QOD, Corinne!

Erin harrassed me into answering this.... ;)

I would do it over again, although I would prefer to go back in time and do my own high school over and over and over again until I get it right.

But if I did it again, I would definitely flaunt my vampy hotness and scariness. I would wear even more outrageous clothes than I did in my original high school tenure. I would take way more art and lit classes. I would talk back more to the teachers. I would flirt with even more boys but this time I would try and go on dates. Basically, I would be more like myself now--more confident. I've been told that I seemed really confident and aloof and "eff you" in school... well now I would have the actual attitude to back that up, not the fake one I did then.

And I would star in all the musicals. And screw the swim team.

"And screw the swim team."

ahahahhaahahahhahahah

Totally agree about going back in my own time and redoing it until I get it right...

With our super strength and ability to not get hurt Kari and I would have for sure been state gymnastics champions! And even with vampy hotness I bet it'd still go weak and shy for my high school crushes.

Ohhh, good question.

I would totally go back, even though I think a lot has changed in two years (fine, TEN. Ugh ....thirteen). I would pay a lot more attention in science and math classes. I wouldn't play the emotional games high schoolers love. I'd probably keep to myself this time around -- although with my fab vamp looks, it'd be hard. I would be nicer to boys.

I'd also roll my eyes a lot, I'm sure.

Oh yeah Jill! We'd totally kick ass at gymnastics! Take that, Ms. Sherling! ;)

I too would want to go back in time to my high school. I would actually talk to people, flirt more, and play a lot of sports.

Just think of how intimidating our lunch table would be Alison and Erin :)

I would not do high school over again. I LOVED my high school expirience, I really did.

Working with all the high schoolers that I do, in no way do I have any urge to go back to high school in todays world. Even being a vamp- the pressure these kids are under is so much more ( I cant believe all that has changed in just the last tens years since I was in hig school) Nope- not for me.

Though, I would LOVE to go to my ten year reunion this year as a vamp! Than I could finally get some with Hans B.!!!!!! mmmmmmmm.

I think I'd rather not do High School over! college would be cool though so I could get lots of different majors and stuff!

High School was hard for me...and I rather not do it over again! (although I'm with Kari...It would be fun to go back and kick ass in Gymnastics!) I was one of those people that didn't fit in...so I'd rather not experience any of that over again!

I guess I think it is interesting that they put themselves through high school at 100 years old. I didn't have a bad high school experience, but I think it would really be hard to want to do it again (let alone more than twice).

I do think teenagers are really interesting. I also think that there is a part of me that would love to do some things differently, kind of like an experience.

But if Eddie never went back to HS for his whateverth time, he'd never have met the one girl he wants to spend eternity with.
