Wow that was a lot of behind the scenes footage. I hope Alice ripping James' head of is awesome...

did she really say (to Eric) "I'm more of a suffering silent type?"

ugh.

AAAAAHHH!! That was AWESOME!! Thanks Jes!!

Why do all the guys keep calling Bella their "homegirl" and then kiss her on the cheek or hug her?? That was really stupid. I hope the acting looks better in the theater.

Thats what I was thinking Maggie. It was almost a caricature of what an adult would think a teen would act like. I hope that scene gets cut.

i do have complete faith that the actual filom will feel and look better- I think everytime you see something being taped it looks weird

- i do have to say that Rob is obviously the best actor

alison said...

I agree--hopefully it will look better as a whole.

As for being the best actor...I hope not. His American accent is a stretch--it changes in every scene! I'm hoping that the 2nd string characters are really going to bring it

I agree about the accent too, Alison. It was a stretch. The acting seemed contrived.

But I'm hoping that Jes is right that the movie will be better - because it is awkward to watch the scenes being filmed.

In the EW article, Rob said he got so into the character and refused to speak to people unless it was about the movie (oh the angst). I was hoping to see that dedication in his acting, but I really didn't.

Ohhh, this was cool. Jacob's wig doesn't look as bad as I thought it would.

The piano scenes were awesome.

Watching the whole thing made me realize how much goes into the making of a movie. It did made me nervous though... don't want another BD on our hands and it's hard to tell by watching the behind the scenes stuff.

I only got to watch one of them; I will watch the rest tonight.

The thing that keeps me hopeful is how lame the behind the scenes made the Tyler crash/Edward saves Bella part, but how much better it looks edited in the trailer. You know? So it HAS to be better when it's cleaned up and the sound is fixed etc etc...

But I'm still nervous. I freaked about seeing Port Angeles! And a couple of Edward's lines seemed completely out of character. And I hate Eric Yorkie...seems so annoying.

But. It will be good. I have faith. I'm not expecting the book made over; I'm expecting something very different but still good. And that's my pep talk to myself.

ha- erin, eric IS suppose to be annoying!

I actually love Edwards voice, I do. I like that his accent sneaks out abit, it makes edward seem older/aged to me.

I agree that the lunch room stuff and the HS scenes with her "friends" scared me and I did not like their dialogue. It was way too childish...
