If you go to Steph's web site there is a new post for today talking about New Moon's Director Chris Weitz- and there is a message from the director himself. He was the director for one of my absolutely favorite movies, About A Boy! This makes me very hopeful and excited to see where he will take this film- can you believe that we have less than a year till the next movie?
I am VERY pleased with this choice! When I saw his name being thrown around, I was hoping he'd end up being the one to direct it. I loved the movie About a Boy, and also In Good Company (he produced it)... so I have faith that he will do a fantastic job with New Moon! They've got a lot of hard work ahead of them.. just one year?! wow.

I wish him good luck because he is taking on a lot of teenagers with wandering mood swings to hunt him down if he goes wrong.
I think its good a guy is doing it too because than maybe it will appeal more to guys too ?
I have heard good things about him and can't wait to see how it all goes! Im keeping my fingers crossed xxxxx
