Happy Vampiversary SVC

A year ago today we started this web site. Some of us knew each other, some of us had never met, but all of us loved Twilight. We had no plan -- we just wanted a space to talk about the books and be goofy.


Who would have guessed shinyvampireclub.com would receive an average of 500 hits per day?


Who would have guessed our promised monthly meetings would turn into weekly meetings, phone calls, presents to each other, and countless inside jokes?


Who would have thought we'd be throwing a Vampire-themed baby shower? Making Future Shiny Vampire Club Members onesies?


Ok, Alice probably could have predicted this. Me? No way. I'm so thankful and happy to have made such wonderful friends over a silly (and glorious) vampire series.

    I think I stumbled into this wonderful world of SVC some time back in November? December? I'm happy to be getting to know you lovely ladies! and maybe one of these days I'll bust out my snow suit and make the trek up to Minnesota! :)

    I will totally accept "blame" for this! :-) I can't say how thankful I am that I have you all as friends. It's hard to believe it's only been a year, because I feel like I've known you guys a lot longer than that. I love you, my lady-husbands!! Happy Vampiversary!

    Ginger, just let us know when you're coming!!! That'd be so fun.

    And sounds like we should print up more of those t-shirts!!

    I thought I's share this for two reasons.

    1) we're on the subject of anniverseries/birthdays

    To be honest, I wasn't that big of a fan of the first one... but Ryah & Kari kept telling me they got better as the series continued.. so I thought I'd give book #2 a try! I have nothing to read at the moment anyway.

    Happy Anniversary...if you are ordering more shirts....I want one too! I also read the J.R. Ward books... pretty good after the first one! Pretty much fluff and smut, but I am interested in what happens to John!

    Yay for SVC! Looks like you ladies had a good time!! (Can I get one of the Future SVC shirts for my girls too?! :(

    Kari, That's cool! I make T shirts all the time and Photo editing apps and my own stock of the transfers!

    I TOLD you the V story was good...but now ya know why I clarified that I liked the STORY not his "preferences" hehe!

    Erin, nothing wrong with enjoying some vamp smut every once in awhile! hehe!

    I used to think that it was Edward that I didn't want to live without, and although I love Eddie, I love the SVC more! I am so glad to know you girls and also very happy that we have attracted such lovely regular posters to our "little" blog. You guys make this a great place to be!

    Why is everyone spelling this new, made-up word differently?
    If anyone bothered wondering, I have NOT just forgotten about the SVC for the last month, I was forced to give up *takes deep breath* reading, writing, blogging *cringe*, watching, or buying anything related to anything related to Twilight or SM. I managed to survive, now with a healthy hatred for Lent
