Confirming recent speculation, Summit Entertainment announced Wednesday that “Dreamgirls” writer-director Bill Condon will in fact direct the final film in the “Twilight” series, “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.”

No decision has yet been made as to whether the long, final tome will be divided into two movies or whether one (or both) will be filmed in 3D.

Thanks for the head's up, Heather!

Yay! I'm glad that they are making it. If anything I want to see the wedding!!! I'm so intrigued about the dress. I hope the add the COOL stray vamps! It'll be interesting to see what they do with it!

I wonder if he will do a good job?
Didn't the movie win awards or something?
At least they have finally confirmed something!

I'm not sure how I feel about Breaking Dawn being a movie. There's just SO much info packed in & I'm afraid they'd either leave stuff out or majorly downsize everything like they did in Twilight. Plus I've already read stuff about how they may leave out Isle Esme because it may be too "risque" -- are you kidding??!! SM doesn't even describe the actual act! just the before & after.. and they're married!

They are saying SM is a producer for BD as well, which means she can be MUCH MORE involved in what is included or left out. I think BD has the potential to be the best MOVIE simply because she will have much more SAY in how it is done

yeah if stephanie is on board to produce at least the movie will be more to the book maybe.. I reckon they with make it 2 movies to make more $$$$$$

If they started the series they better end it well.
