  2. I just remembered that maybe it was coming out soon and logged on here and saw that it was today! Luckily Nate was still home from workso I ran over to target and snagged a copy... not sure when I will be able to start reading, gotta clean up after the in-laws, but hopefully this afternoon!

  3. Ahhh I pre-ordered this book and Mockingjay together so i won't be getting either of them for a couple of days :(. I'm DIEING to read them !

  4. Putting the kids down now and starting it. It was so hard not to read at the park - I suppose pushing Piper in the swing for an hour was more important. Maybe.

  6. Kari, love your updates! Can I borrow your book when you're done (really long waiting list at the library). Now that you spent time at the park with the kids you can feel ok neglecting them the rest of the day!

  7. Kari, do you love Will as much as Jace? :-)

  8. I also ordered this and MockingJay yesterday so it'll be a few days till I get them! I'm VERY excited tho!

  9. AGHHHHH! I'm sure I'll be in love w/ Will, too. I get so anxious when people are ahead of me reading - are we starting a different thread to discuss so I don't stumble upon spoilers accidentally?

  13. No spoilers here, promise. I do totally love Will as much as Jace - they are very similar. I suppose I love that arrogant, sarcastic but totally romantic boy stereotype.

    Wait, is that a stereotype?

Who cares! Jace and Will forever!

  14. Bought my copy . Reading all night. Will is cute, but I don't know him well enough to compare to Jace....

  15. I made a Costco run with my mom today and picked up Clockwork Angel and Mockingjay at the same time. :) I'm reading Mockingjay first just 'cause it came out first, but am really looking forwards to starting Clockwork!

  16. bought it! not sure if I'll get to it until the weekend. Finishing Caleb + Kate, then I'm reading two books that I'm hoping to read aloud to my students - Unwind and Mazerunner.

  17. oh I am started now. Seemed a little dull at first but now its getting more interesting..

Erin, let me know how Unwind is.. I've seen it at the bookshop but the catch phrase "what if your parents could unwind you" or whatever it is always turned me off. (that is the same book, right?)

oh, and did y'all read changeling? I'm on the other one, Fire. Anyway, it was good.

  18. I bought my copy too... wanted to start tonight after class, but I'm exhausted! So I am going to dive in first thing tomorrow morning! (once I'm at work -- nice that I have a job that allows me to do that huh? lol)

    Yay for Caleb + Kate!!

  19. It's a modern day twist on the Romeo & Juliet story. It's very light reading & corny, but cute! I sent my copy to Erin... perhaps she can share it with you all who want to read it?

  20. so far it's awesome. just what I needed after finishing mockingjay - that was so heavy. It's also (very lightly) Christian-themed - just in morals, really. I'd be really happy to see students reading this. It's good for me to get away from the vampire porn once in a while, hehehehe
