Becca Fitzpatrick Book Signing in Houston

Tonight I went to meet Becca Fitzpatrick, author of Hush Hush at her book signing. I had never been to one before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised! She is such an awesome woman!! Very sweet and down to earth. She talked about the book, and spilled some secrets. I loved hearing about how she came up with the characters, and where her thought processes came from for the plot. After a few questions and answers, she read an excerpt from the book, and then I got my copy of Hush Hush signed by her :-)

3 enjoyed the bouquet.:

Yay Ginger! Did you have to wait long to get your book signed?

The only book signing I've ever been tom was the S. Meyer one at MOA for the Host! That was a huge ordeal with a TON of people. This looks much more intimate, did you get a chance to talk with her at all? WE were sort of rushed right through at the Stephanie Meyer one.

Great pictures!

This book store was very tiny, reminded me of the one on 'You've Got Mail' LOL! I would say there were about 30-40 people there?? After she spoke to everyone we each got a number and had to wait in line in that order (I was number 22). It didn't feel like a long wait, maybe like 10 mins at the most?

When she signed my book we introduced ourselves lol. Then I told her this was my first time to attend something like this. She asked how I liked it. Then told me she was really nervous speaking infront of everyone, haha! I told her she did great :-)

Btw.. she's only 32!! It's weird when you meet someone who's accomplished such a huge goal and they're only a few years older than you!
