Question of the Day

This one comes courtesy of Ginger's comment on the SM article Alison posted (thanks, Ginger!):

SM had a detailed dream that resulted in Twilight. Do you have detailed dreams? What are your dreams like?

9 enjoyed the bouquet.:

Yes, when I remember them. Mine usually play out like a bad horror movie. My favorite was the one I had where Alison watched me drown and didn't try to help me.

yeah yeah. whatevs ryah...

I have very detailed and crazy dreams. Lately they have been super violent--its kill or be killed.

I usually remember them.

Yay for sparking a new question of the day! :)

This is probably way too personal, but its the most vivid dream I've ever had. Just a little back story: my mother passed away a few years ago. So anyway.. back to the dream... she was sitting on the edge of my bed and I was sleeping and she was running her fingers through my hair (she used to always do this) and I remember feeling it. It felt so real to me! Then there was some sort of loud noise that woke me up (literally!) and when I sat up my dog was staring at the door with a puzzled look. It was VERY, VERY creepy.

wow, that is creepy. The kind of dream that would make me wonder if it all was really a dream!

I tend to do bizarre things, like having to save a kitten by swimming across the ocean with it being held above the arms and later turning into a mouse and hiding from animals that want to eat me. yeah, I'm weird like that.

That gave me the chills, Ginger.

I have detailed dreams too. I tend to have more detailed dreams when I'm pregnant or going through some life-altering situations.

Mostly now I dream about getting more sleep. Waaahhh-waaaahhh.

waaah wahhh indeed.

When I used to sleep long enough to dream ;-) I usually have uncomfortable dreams. Like I'm in my house but it's not my house. Or I'm driving a car and am going WAY too fast but can't slow down. This probably says too much about me.

Ginger, thanks for sharing that. I understand how it can be creepy, but I think that's pretty cool, too...

I don't usually remember my dreams... most of the time I don't sleep long enough to dream. Something about falling asleep at 11 and waking up at 7:30...

But when I do remember dreams they're really weird. Not in a creepy kind of way, the way that makes you go WTF when reviewing it.

And Ginger, that was creepy. Grimm has a dream that she's coonvinced is real, but I think she never woke up in the first place.

Yeah, i thought i was CRAZY! there was this like, murderer. But i was like, 7 years old, i woke up and i saw this figure at my door and he/she was trying to turn on my light in my bed room, and he/she had a knife(or something like that) in its hand and i thought it was my brother, so i was like " John? is that you?" and there was no reply, so i kept asking "mom? dad?" and no awnser. so i was very creeped out, and i lay there awake for like, 2 hours after i woke up, VERY weird. and Z~Z knows some of my weirder dreams...Jasper...parachute.....Z~Z shooting a gun....me falling off a cliff for the majic jelly-beans....0_o
