It's been three years since we started this blog. It started with a mutual obsession with Twilight and it's turned into so much more. Happy Anniversary!

Carlisle is the richest Vamp!

Twilight's Carlisle Cullen Named Wealthiest Fictional Character

Forget that boring Fortune 500 list, with its Walmarts, oil companies and lack of vampires. The better list was released this week by Forbes, the one that not only includes vampires, but puts a bloodsucker squarely on top of the list.

In its annual ranking of the wealthiest fictional characters, Forbes calculated that Carlisle Cullen -- the father of the vampiric Cullen clan from the Twilight novels and movies -- is the most well-heeled character in the world with an estimated fortune of over $34 billion.

To read more about how he reaped these fortunes click here.

Here is the entire Forbes Fictional 15:
1. Carlisle Cullen (Twilight): $34.1 billion
2. Scrooge McDuck: $33.5 billion
3. Richie Rich: $11.5 billion
4. Tony Stark (Iron Man): $8.8 billion
5. Jed Clampett (Beverly Hillbillies): $7.2 billion
6. Adrian "Ozymandias" Veidt (Watchmen): $7 billion
7. Bruce Wayne (Batman): $6.5 billion
8. The Tooth Fairy (she's real): $3.9 billion
9. Thurston Howell, III (Gilligan's Island): $2.1 billion
10. Sir Tophamm Hatt (Thomas the Tank Engine): $2 billion
11. Artemis Fowl II : $1.9 billion
12. C. Montgomery Burns (The Simpsons): $1.3 billion
13. Chuck Bass (Gossip Girl): $1.1 billion
14. Jay Gatsby (The Great Gatsby): $1 billion
15. Lucille Bluth (Arrested Development): $950 million

Cullen House for Sale

If you have about $3 million laying around and looking for a new crib, you might want to consider the Cullen's house they used for filming in New Moon.

Of course you'd have to move to Vancouver. Hmm.. I wonder if any of the Cullens would come visit?! hehe To take a tour of the house click here.

PostSecret doesn't get it?

I was looking through this week's PostSecret.com and came across this secret:

I know there's quite a few people here at SVC who "don't get it" either. I was just wondering if you share this same secret? We all know I don't! haha

Are you compatible?

Ok so I know this is kind of cheesy, but I was just curious... I found this celebrity love match horoscope and looked up Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner for myself. Apparently RPattz and I are hot tamales! and Taylor and I are cold fish.. haha! Go figure!

Countdown to Christmas Twilight Style!

I'm a big lover of Christmas and up here in MN we are gearing up for what maybe the biggest Christmas snow storm in 60 years (or so the weather people keep saying). tomorow the MN SVC coven leaders are gathering to kick off Christmas together, so in the spirit of Twilight, SVC and Christmas I thought I would do a little countdown with some Christmas Twilighty things I find this week. Below is a t-shirt you can purchase from our friends over at CafePress.com-- i thought it was funny!
(oh, and three days til Christmas!)

Jessica Stanely nominated for Golden Globe!

I have to say that even though I haven't seen the movie yet, I am thrilled that Anna Kendrick has been nominated for a Golden Globe for her role in Up In The Air. I remember hearing the buzz that was going around her being hand picked by George Clooney for her role in this movie when Twilight came out. And even if he didn't, I think she is totally worthy to be getting this attention. She is hands down my fave actor in the Twilight franchise (yes, even more than Rpatz and Twizzler (that's my nickname for Taylor)). I think she delivers the best lines out of any actor in the Twilight movies thus far.

Vampire Kiss

**This post is for those of you who are 21 years of age and older!

I saw this recipe on the Food Network and it sounds DELICIOUS! Perhaps you'd like to try it during this Holiday season?

Vampire Kiss Martini

  • 1 part vodka, chilled
  • 1 part Champagne
  • 1 part Chambord
  • Garnish with wax teeth/candy corn/blood orange slice
Pour vodka in a martini glass, top with Champagne and pour a little of the Chambord over the back of a spoon to make it float.
