Question of the Week

I have found that I enjoy when TV Shows, Books, and other Movie's reference the Twilight world. Last night while watching the show The Middle there was one, and I just loved it! Last nights episode focused on the daughter, Sue, who has a crush on her older brother's friend. At one point she is so obsessed with him that she can't stop thinking about him and shouts at her mother

"Ah! I'm just going to shut myself in my room and read Eclipse... not even that may work!!"

Just too funny!
So, my question is this: Where in everyday life, or pop culture have you come across a Twilight reference that made you laugh, smile, or shake your head??

Here is a clip from last nights show, unfortunately it doesn't have that line in it.

7 enjoyed the bouquet.:

The question should be where have I NOT seen this? lol Twilight has turned in to a household name. It's rare you find someone who doesn't know what it is. It still makes me giggle when people reference to it. And I still find myself defending it when people make BAD references to it too lol.

I can't think of a certain scenario right now though.

If I'm thinking the weirdest place I've seen something Twilight, maybe in the purses (a book) of one of the ladies at those red/purple hat conventions?

My favorite that made me laugh was the Jersey Shore Twilight spoof.

One of our local morning shows has a weather girl who LOVES Twilight and she references it often, especially when its cloudy, raining or we are expecting storms - she'll usually say "It's a vampire kinda day." haha!

There's an upcoming episode of one of my favorite tv shows called "Live Free or Twihard" and I am very much looking forwards to it.

I dislike Twilight, actually. So it was really awkward when I was grocery shopping and I heard the clerk and assistant talk about clerk's daughter is obsessed with Twilight and that last night she put on white cover up and sparkles and black eyeliner and was all "I am vampire". Well, I am naturally very pale, I think even Meyer's "ivory-skinned" would be fitting and I am eyeliner-abusers and drag-queen in woman's body (in otheer words, I wear body glitter in daytime). I do not do it because of Twilight... I wore glitter/lot of eye make up long before this trade... however, those two women thought I was another vampire wannabe.
