Without giving away any pertinent information...

How is the Host? I am still working on "Lonely Werewolf Girl," (its actually a 550 page book; I've got another hundred to go...). And I will feel guilty for starting the host before reading the...uh... five or so other books I've purchased in the past week. But maybe if you guys tell me how much it kicks ass I won't feel so guilty and will get my booty in gear to finish aforementioned werewolf book.

ps. thanks for all the updates and pictures and having my book signed and all that. I tried to wear my bella bracelet today to be "with" you, but I never really fixed it, and it didn't work. Am considering taking apart some other piece of jewlery to use the clasp... alas, I am talking too much on what should be a vampire-related blog.

Oh. But did anyone notice how I was trying very hard to find interesting bits on the internets for you while you were gone? I usually try to leave that to everyone else, but thought I should be trying to be useful in your absence. xo!

10 enjoyed the bouquet.:

not that there were very many (or very interesting) bits to find, though...

You were a wonderful Web Mistress today!! We were just so sad you weren't there with us.

I'm about 70ish pages into The Host, and Kari, you're right - I can't put it down. Don't know how I'm going to teach tomorrow! I want to know what happens! It's a little slow-going at first, but I think it's going to be great.

alison- you're the best!
we all agreed to not say anything about The Host, until our next meeting- ans you will be there! yay!

you guys are altogether too nice to me. I like it, but it feels weird. ;)

actually us postponing the host is not just about you ;) I got caught up in city of bones--now on to city of ashes--and don't think i'm gonna get to the host until this weekend. i think that it's better to wait to talk about it in order to preserve the book for those of us not interested in spoilers (or who read slow--which is none of us, of course)

glad you are reading city of bones, corinne. I really liked them! I still think you guys are too nice though. It almost seems fake (must be all the exclamation points).... ;)

I've really been into exclamation points lately. Woo!

I am about halfway through The Host. You won't be disappointed. I dreamed about it last night. Finally, a vampire-free night!

Wait, is that a good thing? ;)
