Question of the Day

In Breaking Dawn, Charlie wants to know as little as possible about Bella's "secret world." If it were your daughter/family member, would you want to know as little as possible or as much as possible? Why?

(Brought to you by our lovely Maggie!)

Depends if I knew my life was on the line.

I would want to know. It's more my personality to be open about everything instead of pretending and not talking about it.

Even if I knew it could harm me, I couldn't NOT know. If I were Charlie, I would have for sure been googlin' some stuff.

I'd want to know everything I could! I'm like Kari and I would want to know what to expect, ways I could help the transition and so on! I'd want to have the people in my life and make it as easy as possible for them!

Thanks for posting the question, Kari!!

When I was reading BD and Charlie found out about Jacob and then Bella, it truly surprised me that he didn't want to know everything. I thought Charlie would want to know as much as possible too, he seems to be that kind of guy.

I would want to know every single detail because I'm just always curious, especially if it has to do with my family. But if there REALLY were werewolves and vampires, I would be so excited and want to know everything!! And then turn into a vampire myself.

I always want to know EVERYTHING.

Though I think when it comes to parent child relationships that's not always the case. There are definately things that I don't tell my parents, and that they probably at certain times would rather not know somethings. I do think that after awhile, down the road Charlie will eventually ask more questions and find out more- I think Sue will help him through all of it.
I wasn't surprised that Charlie didnt want to know much at first, Charlie likes his world as it is, no surprises. I think after Renee left him, he wanted as simple and routine life as possible to get through the hurt.

I would want to know. But then I might regret knowing, since it's so unbelievable, and I can't imagine you don't go through feeling slightly insane if you discover werewolves and vampires make up most of your close friends and family. But I'd want to know.

Great question!

To know is better. I am WAY too nosy.
