Well I've read all the books- and enjoy them... so- I didn't love it tonght, but i think it has some promise. The book is way funnier.

I thought it was funny, in a cheesy tv show kinda way.

I found myself laughing too, but didn't think I was supposed to be laughing.

I will see where it goes.

yeah, I thought it was funny in a "this isn't supposed to be funny" kind of way. I especially liked the piano music that played every time bill walked into the bar.

actually, a lot of it seemed similar to what the books were like, at least book one. Most of the big stuff I remember happening in the book; the rest is just filler, I suppose.

I did like BIll more than I thought I would. I hated him in the books and I didn't think he looked like he was going to be very cute. But he was.

Also, I feel sad that z~z probably wouldn't be able to watch it--the show was pretty graphic.

I enjoyed it. I thought the opening credits was brilliantly done in a Dexter type way. I laughed out loud at "God Hates Fangs." There were a lot of funny new vampire sayings that I want to memorize.

I haven't read the books but now I want to. It sounds like (at least on the HBO site) a lot of the people who have read the books aren't as crazy about the show.

I'll def be watching next week.

Kari- I may have to come over to watch it with you!
I watched it a second time and really liked it then.

Yeah, I just watched it. I laughed at all the wrong parts...

True Blood reminds me of Heroes at first glance (just rented the first episode from Blockbuster), though the show still has an original feel overall
